School Council BBQ – rescheduled

Posted May 7, 2018

Dear Elora Public School Families,

School Council had reserved June 7th as our Family BBQ event.  After discussions at our last School Council Meeting, it was decided to postpone this event until September 2018. Having it in the fall has several benefits:

  • It’s a great way to welcome our new families – Over the summer there are always a few families that move into our area. As well, every year we get a whole new group of Junior Kindergarten families and new grade 7 families from Alma, Ponsonby, and Salem.
  • Renovations – Our school renovations will be starting in June. By the end of September, at the BBQ, families will be invited to see how the newly renovated school looks.

The rescheduled fall BBQ date will be posted on our school website soon!

The Family BBQ Night is a School Council event. Our Council is currently looking for new members to represent families from JK – Grade 8.  If you want to keep informed about things happening at our school, if you are looking for a way to make a positive contribution to our school community, or if you just want to volunteer for a specific event, please consider joining our School Council. If you are interested, or need more information, please contact us!

On behalf of EPS School Council,

Mrs. Reiner & Mr. Ellery
