School Supplies!
Hello Elora Families!
We hope you are having a great summer. We have had some questions about school supplies. While there will be specific information coming home during the first week of school regarding what is needed, here is a general list below for those who might be doing some shopping:
Suggested Supplies for Grades 1-6
-plain wooden pencils
-eraser
-glue stick
-scissors
-a 30 cm non-bendy ruler
-pencil sharpener with shaving receptacle
-pencil box (preferred) or case
-indoor shoes
-labelled water bottle
-colouring supplies (crayons or pencil crayons or markers)
-sketchbook
-an inexpensive pair of headphones is helpful
Suggested Supplies for Grades 7 and 8
-pens & pencils
-pencil sharpener
-erasers
-lined & graph paper
-pencil crayons
-2 binders & dividers
-ruler
-small scissors
-glue stick
-calculator – Doesn’t have to be scientific, just a square root button
-pencil case – Preferably not a plastic box
-labelled water bottle
-a lock for the locker (Master 3-number combo lock is preferred)
Specific information about kindergarten will be sent home from the teachers prior to school starting.
