In Stitches (Preteens)

Learn to thread and operate the sewing machine, and create a simple project. Machines are also available for in-branch use. Please register.

Welcome Book Party with Kathy Stinson (All Ages)

Join Rockwood Branch and author Kathy Stinson as we celebrate the release of Kathy’s new book, “The Dog Who Wanted to Fly.” There will be dog books, dog crafts, dog games, and dog treats! No actual dogs please. Please register.

Red Cross Babysitting Course (Preteens)

This course offers basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth 11 – 15 years old. Participants learn how to provide care for children of all ages and how to prevent and respond to emergencies, including: managing difficult behaviour, baby care, and the business of babysitting. Presented by Emergency Health Services. Cost $60.00 cash on the day. A subsidy may be available through the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington. Please register.
