Hi Eramosa Families!
– Tomorrow (Wednesday, April 24th) our school is holding a Waste-Free Lunch Day. We are encouraging all families to think about your habits at home and explore how you can reduce food and packaging waste. Have a conversation at home about reducing food and packaging waste. For 50 tips to get you started, visit https://www.haveyoursay.guelph.ca/smart-cities.

– Tomorrow is also Office Coordinator Appreciation Day! This is a giant shoutout and thanks to Mrs. Kent for all she does to make our school such a great place. THANKS!!

– This Friday (April 26th) is Multiples Day at school. Students are encouraged to connect with a friend or sibling and try and look alike in creative ways.

-Congrats to the Jr. Basketball team for representing our school so well at the tournament last week. We are so proud of the team’s effort and skills!

-Eramosa PS has just had two loads of mulch dropped off to help our gardens and outdoor play areas. This mulch needs to be spread out and we are looking for any donations of wheelbarrows, shovels and/or 5 gallon pails that we could use and return. Any lending of items would be greatly appreciated and they can be dropped off at the school. Please be sure to label any items so we can return them to the proper owners and please no items brought on the bus as that would be a safety concern. Thanks in advance for any help with this project it is truly appreciated.

– We have many events happening at our school. For our full calendar and up to date information from the school, school board and connected community organizations visit our website: https://www.ugdsb.ca/eramosa/ and make sure you are signed up for the UG CONNECTS app for all important school and school board websites in one spot https://www.ugdsb.ca/eramosa/2019/03/24/pass-the-word-eramosa-connects-on-the-go/

– The school is in need of a person who would be willing to be a fill in lunch supervisor. This role helps students during the lunch hour both during the eating portion inside and outside for play. Please call the school office if interested for more information. Thanks!

-Save the Date! Our junior students have been busy working on play performances in drama class. This year, our students are not only the cast and crew, but they also wrote their own plays. Dress rehearsals will be on May 6th and 7th. Our performance day will be the morning of May 8th. Students are encouraged to make every attempt to be present that day, and parents and guardians are more than welcome to attend.

And remember: Eramosa Eagles C.A.R.E.!
