A Technology Request from EPSAC
Hello Eramosa Families:
A belated hello from your Eramosa Public School Parent Advisory Council (EPSAC). We hope this email finds you all well and adjusting well to the new life of school during COVID-19. The parent council group recently held our first meeting and you will be able to find the minutes on the school website shortly.
We wanted to reach out to the community with an important note about fundraising. Did you know that EPSAC raises approximately $5000 every year to support things going on in the school such as scientist in the classroom, school agendas, teacher resources and the playground fund. This year, due to COVID-19, we will not be able to fundraise in our traditional ways, but the school still has needs! The greatest need identified this year is funding for a replacement plan to keep the chromebooks up to date and useful for learning in the classroom. A request has come from the school for Parent Council to help fund the purchase of 9 chromebooks, which would match the school board funding and double the number of machines purchased. This funding is needed before November 13 to be able to order for the 2021-22 school year!
We all know this year is different, and we are certainly feeling the impact of not being able to hold our favourite community events. Please take a moment to consider the money you may have just spent on Halloween treats for your child’s class or at the Halloween Dance if we’d had it, and consider contributing that money instead to this fund. If every student had a donation of $25 we would quickly reach our goal! This is the #1 item the teachers have asked for this year – this is a great way to show our support for them.
As a parent you have two options to contribute any donations – you can donate through the Upper Grand Learning Fund or school cashonline.

If you are interested in a tax receipt, you must donate through the Upper Grand Learning Fund and anything over $20 will be given a receipt. You can either fill out a PDF Donation form (We have attached one for you.) or you can give online. Just remember to fill in the comments section to tell the Foundation where the money is to go (Eramosa PS Chromebooks).
