Student Census Follow-up
Good morning.
On September 19th, the school board launched a board-wide Student Census, which is open to all students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. The goal of the census is for the school board to learn more about the diversity of students in our communities and make positive change to support students.
At this point there is a response rate of 30.2%. It would be great to increase that to ensure that you have an opportunity to influence decisions around your children’s educational opportunities moving forward.
It will remain open until October 9th. The census data will be collected through an online survey. This survey is voluntary and confidential, and the school board is encouraging everyone to complete the census.
For elementary students, an email was sent to parents/guardians so that parents can complete the census with or on behalf of their child. If you did not see it come in, please check your spam folder to see if it is in there.
