Fall FUNdraiser Dance A Thon

Hello Gateway Gator Families,

We look forward to another exciting year at Gateway and your school council has some big plans, which we need your help with! This 2022-2023 school year, we are looking to raise $11,000 to help fund our ongoing outdoor greening/naturalized playground area updates. This past summer, we were happy to have our first phase completed, with our outdoor kindergarten play area getting much needed upgrades. Our next construction project is scheduled to start summer 2023 in our junior yard area!!!!

Our first fundraiser event will a Pumpkin Patch Sale be this Thursday, October 6th @ 5:30-7PM, during our schools Open House evening event. Come pick your pumpkin from our patch out by the Gateway Garden at the front of the school. There will be a limited number of pumpkins available for a suggested minimum donation of $3/each. Thank you to our donors Mosborough Country Market and Good Family Farm for making this event possible 🙂 See attached poster.

Then…on Friday, October 28th during the school day, we will be holding a Fall FUNdraiser Dance-A-Thon. Students are welcome to dress up in a costume

You can donate through School Cash Online or by sending cash/cheque back to the school in the provided envelope along with the Pledge form to your child’s teacher by October 31st.

If you would like to donate a new item for the student prize draws for the Fall FUNdraiser Dance-A-Thon, please bring them to the office by Monday, October 17th or contact the school council at [email protected]. Our school council also accepts donations throughout the year of new items (i.e. games, crafts, books) or gift cards for use at other student events or at our year-end Spring Gatorfest silent auction event.
