We are so excited to see you at the Guelph Collegiate 2024 Commencement on Wednesday June 26th!
Grad Arrival: Arrive no later than 30-40 minutes before your scheduled ceremony at the Blue Doors near the Accessible Entrance in the Yorkshire Street parking lot. At that time you will be given a graduation gown to wear and  get organized into your ceremony order.
Guests: Your guests may proceed to the Event Waiting Area on the main floor (math hallway) beside the Yorkshire Street parking lot. They will be ushered to the ceremony seating at the start time. There is ceremony seating for four guests per graduate. All other guests are welcome to watch from the balcony in the Auditorium.  Please keep in mind that there may be a ceremony in progress before your ceremony so please remind your guests to be quiet, they will not be able to enter the auditorium early.
Ceremony: For your graduation ceremony you will walk across the stage in the auditorium, at the end of the ceremony the graduating class will exit the auditorium to the historic front stairs where your guests will meet you and a professional photographer will capture the traditional cap toss!  After the ceremony you and your guests may take photos at the Arch and around the building while you are still wearing your gown.
Timing: Each ceremony is expected to take approximately one hour.
Return Gown/Composite Photo: Return your gown and prop diploma to the Math Doors by the Yorkshire Street parking lot. You may pick up your Grad Composite photo and awards here too.
Diploma: You can pick up your real diploma and post-commencement awards on July 10th & 11th from John McCrae Public School 189 Water Street, Guelph, between 9-3pm.
Parking: There is no onsite parking for this event. We encourage you to take transit, walk or park on the side streets. Guelph CVI address is 155 Paisley Street.
Accessibility: If your guests have any accessibility needs, including parking requests, the student may use this form  to help us properly support your guest.
