Remembrance Day

Veterans Week 2019

Every year on November the 11th, the Harris Mill Community pauses not only with our fellow Canadians, but with a global community the recognizes the importance of remembering the times the world was at war, and the Canadians who gave of themselves.  We also take this time to  remember the peace that came because of their sacrifice.  This year is especially important as we mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day, and the battle that took place at Normandy France. Students who are in Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Scouts etc… are invited to wear their uniform.  We would like to invite the parents of our students, as well as our community first responders on Monday, November 11th, at 10:30 a.m. We will again pause to remember.
