Harris Mill Item Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Dear Harris Mill Families,
We are very excited to announce that Harris Mill students will be given a chance to briefly connect with their teachers prior to the end of our school year. Classroom Teachers will share the specific time and date that their class will be meeting. During this time, students are asked to bring their library books, home reading books, and any other borrowed items. All students are to be accompanied by an adult. If your child has medication at the school, this will be distributed at this time (Parent must be present to receive the medication). On the day designated for pick-up/drop-off, real-time (synchronous) teacher-led learning may not occur, as teachers will be facilitating the drop-off and pick-up of items.
Ontario School Screening and Covid Protocols:
If you are unable to come to the school, please make arrangements with a friend/neighbour to return any items borrowed (library books, home reading books etc.) and have your child’s items picked up. Please email/call your child’s teacher to make them aware of the arrangement made.
While on school property, all students and family members must:
- Verify they completed the screening and passed
- Keep 2 m apart from anyone who does not live in your household
- Wear a mask at all times
- Sanitize prior to connecting with your teacher. Sanitizer will be provided
Note: If the weather is questionable please see your child’s google classroom in the morning. Please note that if it rains, students and parents will line up at the front doors to the school and we will continue with a similar plan. Students and adults may want to bring umbrellas. Let’s hope for a sunny day!
