Recognizing, Removing and Preventing Tick Bites

Harris Mill Families,

I hope that you have been enjoying the warmer weather and the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy nature.  Although we are fortunate to have the nature trails behind the school and to be surrounded by fields, these are also areas that ticks inhabit during the warmer months.  As the weather warms up ticks in our area are becoming active again.  Please see the attached link below to information from public health on recognizing, removing and  preventing tick bites.
