#3 Clean Up for the End of Year: Please encourage your children to bring home all of their personal items from school by the end of the last day. This will help our teachers and our fantastic Mrs. O’Malley be able to get the school in top condition for start up in September.

#4 Are You Moving? Families who are planning to move schools over the summer holidays please let the office know as soon as possible so we can help with your transition.

#5 Library book exchange is now wrapping up for the year: It’s now time to make sure all overdue books are returned as soon as possible. If you think a book is lost, please send an email to [email protected] to let her know.

#6 June 17-25, Huskies Give Back! Those families who are able are invited to send in non-perishable items for delivery to EWCS between June 17th and the 25th. Most needed items include toiletries, peanut butter, jams, pasta & sauce, Sidekicks, canned pasta, cooking oil, kid’s snacks (granola bars, cookies, pudding cups, fruit cups). Thank you!

To help us organize, an order form has gone home with all students for parents to complete and send back to their child’s teacher by June 12th. All students will be receiving the cool treat of their choice and this fun event is connected with our Huskies Give Back initiative, in hopes that families that are able can make a non-perishable food item donation as mentioned above. Thank you School Council for this great way to celebrate the end of a fantastic school year!

#8 Play Day June 24th + Calling all parents! Play Day is coming to Harris Mill on June 24th. Please make sure you come wearing sunscreen, a hat, running shoes and bring a water bottle. #16 Please Call The School: To ensure that all of our students are safe every morning we kindly ask that all parents call the school office (519-856-0309) to let us know if their child will be absent or late. When the office does not have confirmation of where the child is then we must call all available numbers until we have confirmation that the child is safe. Thank you for helping us out with this!

#17 Morning Drop Off: Just a reminder that students should not be dropped off at the school before 8:15 as there is no supervision happening before this time. Also an ongoing reminder that parents are asked to stay on the edge of the tarmac close to the yellow posts when dropping off their grade 1-5 child(ren) before school starts. If parents are dropping their child off late (Kindergarten to Gr.5) Please go to the front office doors and connect with the Office staff.
