Hyland Heights News for April 1st

Posted April 1, 2021

Good evening Parents and Guardians,

We have had another great week here at Hyland Heights. Everyone looked good in blue today as we recognized and raised awareness about Autism. Our spirit days continue throughout the month of April:

Friday April 9- Mismatched Day, wear strange patterns together, or mismatched socks!
Friday April 23- Hawks Wear Day
Friday April 30- PJ Day/Comfy Cozy Day

We want to say thank you to all our students and families who are following all the COVID safety protocols including: wearing masks, maintaining distance, completing the daily self-screening tool, not making deliveries to the office, and the list goes on. We know that the pandemic has been very difficult on all of us, but we certainly appreciate the support of our school community. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding as we all navigate this very different time.

We know there is unconfirmed information in the media right now about COVID and schools. Please continue to check our school and board website for updates. We also post to the UG Connect App and Twitter. If it is important, we will do a call like this one as well.

Finally, have a wonderful long weekend. If you and your family recognize Passover or Easter, we wish you a safe and joyous celebration. We’ll see everyone on Tuesday, April 6th at 850am.
