Free Camp Opportunity Grades 4-7: One Voice/ One Team
We are excited about this opportunity for our students! Through One Voice, One Team’s amazing sponsors,they have secured 10 spots PER SCHOOL for young people to participate in one week of their Virtual SWOLE Summer Camp, completely free of charge!
The ambassadors selected should fit the following criteria:
– In grades 4 to 7
– Demonstrated leadership capacity
– Likes to help others
– Open to being physically active but may not be able to financially afford going to summer camp.
The S.W.O.L.E.™ Virtual Sports & Leadership Summer Camp is a co-ed virtual camp that teaches youth ages 7-13 life skills, team building, how to be a leader and incorporates fun physical and cognitive activities. Youth learn the five foundational principles Self-respect, Work Hard, Overcome Adversity, Lead by example and excellence. Campers receive a SWOLE booklet, T-shirt, prizes, and there are special guests, a weekly virtual field trip and end of week graduation. The cost for a week of camp is $99+HST, however for 10 students from our school, it will be totally free.
Weeks of Camp :
Week 1: July 5 – 9
Week 2: July 12 – 16
Week 3 – July 19-23
Week 4 – July 26-30
Week 5 – August 2-6
Week 6 – August 9-13
Week 7 – August 16-20
Participants can sign up for morning or afternoon sessions
Morning Session 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Session 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
