HHES September 2022 school info
Dear Parents and Guardians of Hyland Heights,
We have had a wonderful start to the school year here at HHES. Thank you to all of our families for helping us to make it a smooth entry for our students for the 2022-23 school year. Both Ms. Wouters and I would like to say thank you for the warm welcome we have received from our families, staff and students. We are very happy to be part of this amazing community.
REORGANIZATION INFO:
This year Hyland Heights will NOT be doing a large reorganization of our classes. We only have to move a few students to meet the Ministry of Education classroom caps. Those families will be contacted individually tomorrow if their child needs to make a move.
SCHOOL COUNCIL:
Our first School Council meeting was held on Monday in our Library Learning Commons. It was so nice to meet the Council and experience their energy and positivity in person. We will send out a short message from School Council in the next few days. As a school, we are very lucky to have such capable, compassionate and creative parents to work with. If you are interested in attending our meetings, please stay tuned to your email or the website for that information.
SEPTEMBER PAPER PACKAGE:
A package of paper forms that need to be returned to school will be sent home later this week. Please sign and return them to school next week.
