Black Heritage, Black Brilliance, Black Futures Month ~ February 2023

Throughout the month of February across the UGDSB and Canada,  Black histories, experiences and contributions are being highlighted to support learning and celebration across all grades in the UGDSB.

The month of February provides us with an excellent opportunity to celebrate Black Heritage, Black Brilliance and Black Futures. It is our intention continue to enrich the teaching and learning in the UGDSB throughout the year and that the celebration of Black identity and diversity is a continuous aspect of culturally relevant responsive pedagogy and inclusion across the UGDSB.

The Black Student Alliance at HHES will be leading the celebration of Black Culture throughout the month of February, but more importantly,  throughout the year!  We thank all involved for their enthusiasm, support and contributions.
