Tribal Visions Presentation
Our students shared in a special presentation by Tribal Visions, a First Nations arts education group who specialize in native dance and traditional costumes. The students learned about a range of costumes and dance styles, as well as traditional beliefs and language. The underlying message of kindness for others and understanding of differences, while reducing stereotypes, was a positive reinforcement for our students to hear.
