School Council Notes

Posted September 23, 2020

Dear Community,

We held our first virtual school council meeting last night.

Mr Creighton shared:

Thank you to all families for the wonderful job you have done getting kids used to wearing masks, washing hands and social distancing. We have been very impressed with how good our students have been!

Parents have been very supportive of quick drop offs, pick ups, and being sure not to enter the school. These are big changes for all of us and it is very much appreciated.

Terry Fox run, dress-up days, and comfy cozy days will be happening.

Teachers have done an amazing job at not only adapting to the bigger challenges of covid, like mask wearing, hand washing routines, and physical distancing, but also at delivering an educational program in a completely new way, all while ensuring our kids are safe and happy. It is very much like being a front-line worker and we have really appreciated the amazing support we have received from the community.

Our next virtual meeting will be on October 7th at 6:30. Please contact Mr. Creighton with your email if you would be able to join us.

Thanks for all that you have done to get us started and to support us as we move forward!

Mr. Creighton
