Looking for Parent/Guardian Volunteers!

We consider parents to be a special resource and we welcome volunteers in many capacities. . We will always welcome extra help from volunteers in classrooms, programs, the library and for extra-curricular activities. Please talk to your child’s classroom teacher or call the Office if you have time or skills you can share to make our school a better place for students to learn and grow. As part of the entry process for new volunteers, we ask that you complete the “Volunteer Information” form available in our office and read carefully and comply with the following statement:

The Volunteer’s role in the school/board facility is one of partnership with the employees of the Upper Grand District School Board. In this capacity, it is understood that the volunteer will follow the terms and conditions relating to security and confidentiality of personal information according to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and the following protocol.  

In particular, we are currently seeking parent volunteer support for our end of day Kiss ‘n Ride and Street Supervision on Lamond St. to help to ensure the safety of our students as they walk or ride home. 

Please note that we will require regular volunteers to get a police record check. This is available free of charge at the local police station with documentation from the school.
