Bell Let’s Talk Day – Wednesday, January 30th
This month our Wellness Wednesday focus is all about stressbusters. We will be talking about what causes stress and where, as well as how we feel stress in our bodies. We will then learn how to manage and cope with stress to promote positive mental health. Our topic coincides with Bell Let’s Talk Day which conveniently falls on Wednesday, January 30th.
Bell Let’s Talk Day is all about getting the conversation of mental health going to end stigma. In our stressbuster activities we will also be addressing how to ask for help and how it’s a sign of strength, not weakness, to reach out to others.
As a school, we will be participating in activities to improve our mental and physical health and work to learn how to handle stress in the best way possible. A big thank you to our community volunteers coming in to lead our students in the wellness activities!
