Live Free From Hunger Campaign
Our school is once again participating in the Live Free Campaign, which brings attention to the existence of child hunger. All donations made will be directed to the Student Nutrition Program at JD Hogarth, which currently operates 5 days a week at our school.
Here are some statistics:
- Close to 1 million students are at risk of going to school on an empty stomach.
- 1 in 6 students arrive at school without enough food for the day.
- Children who participate in a student nutrition program show improved memory and focus, which can help increase grades by up to 15%.
Your donation can make a difference.
