Message to Families: Public Health, Hallowe’en, Fundraising
Hello JD Hogarth Families!
PUBLIC HEALTH: Thank you for continuing to complete the COVID Screening at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/school-screening each day before school. Public Health has given us new guidelines for when a child can return to school after having symptoms; those guidelines are attached and can been downloaded at https://wdgpublichealth.ca/sites/default/files/wdgph_covid-19_guidance_return_to_school_or_cc_oct_15_2020.pdf
HALLOWEEN: On October 29th, we are having an Orange & Black/Costume Day. Students can wear orange and black or dress up for Halloween. If students choose to wear a costume, they will need to wear it for the whole day with no opportunity to change. Everyone must still wear their COVID mask, and they cannot bring any other accessory items beyond the costume. Unfortunately, there can be no sharing of snacks or treats from home. The school will provide a treat for each student.
FUNDRAISING: All school fundraising, including charity fundraising, is on hold. Donations can still be directed to our school through the Upper Grand Learning Foundation and are eligible for a tax receipt. You can access the document for donations at https://www.uppergrandlearningfoundation.com/uploads/userfiles/files/Contribution-Form-May-2020.pdf
