JD Three – week of May 30th
1. Open House is this Tuesday, May 31st from 5:30-7:00. We hope you check out the fabulous silent auction baskets that were made with your donations. There will be food trucks on site to purchase dinner if that makes things easier for your family! Classrooms will be open with capacity limits and masks are encouraged but not required. Hope to see you there!
2. Our New Orleans Pizza Night was a phenomenal success, raising approximately $1000. Thanks to all the families who enjoyed a pizza supper to support our school!
3. With COVID restrictions continuing to lift, we are recruiting for a volunteer Food Program Coordinator (or two to share the load!) for next school year. The role of the Program Coordinator is an important one. The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of the program, including creating menus, budgeting, scheduling volunteers, and attending food handling training so a clean, safe operation can be maintained. If this sounds like a volunteer opportunity that might interest you, please contact vice-principal Kelley Jones.
