Hello Dragon Families,
I just wanted to touch base around the upcoming weeks in May here at Jean Little.
Popcorn will be sold on Tuesdays & Fridays until the end of the school year (White Cheddar & Butter Salt), Bags will be sold at the 2nd break for 2 dollars a bag, and students are to bring in a toonie.

May 2 to 6 – To celebrate Mental Health and Education Week (#UGMEweek)
May 2 – Gr 4 to 8 Track Club – Runs every Monday and Wednesday after school
May 3 – Popcorn sales begin at 2nd break – 2 dollars a bag – Funds will go towards Grade 8 Grad
May 4 – Pizza Day
May 4 – Gr 4 to 8 Track Club
May 5 – Sub Day
May 6 – Popcorn Sales
May 9 – Junior Planting Day – Planting in the garden next to the Kindergarten area – Dress for the weather
May 9 – Gr 8 Leadership Day – Workshops will be held at school
May 23 – No School – Victoria Day
*Save the date: Grade 8 Grad will be held on Thursday, June 23. More details will follow.
- Celebrating Pride Month – For June, Jean Little along with other schools in the UGDSB will be flying the Pride Flag.
- Rapid Antigen Tests will continue to be shipped to schools to support symptomatic testing of staff and students in schools (Contact School if you need a kit).
