December At A Glance
November was another busy month as we focused on Treaty Recognition week, our Remembrance Day Ceremony, Bully Prevention Week, and parent-teacher interviews. A big thank you to all the families who shared pictures for our Remembrance Day slide show.
With the holidays approaching quickly, we hope that everyone has a safe and restful holiday!
Please see all the exciting events in December:
December 4 (Sunday): Jean Little Clothing Drive Pick Up – 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
December 5th to 15th: Drive For Dignity & Warming Tree
This year Jean Little will once again be participating in our Drive for Dignity for Hope House. We are asking people to donate personal care items. This could be shampoo, body wash, lotion, soap, toothbrushes, and any other personal care items. The Drive For Dignity will start on December 5th and we will be collecting items until December 15. Students will come around and place a donation box in your room. There will also be boxes under the warming tree at the Front Entrance for donated items.
As we enter the cold winter months, hot, mitten, and sock donations to our warming tree are also welcome.
This year, our goal is to have one donated item for each student at Jean Little. So, if you can, please donate a personal care item to our Drive for Dignity.
