Technology Use and Well-being Speaker(s) Wanted!

Posted January 12, 2018

During an evening workshop on Tuesday April 10th, parents will be invited to gain a better understanding of two related subjects: online safety and screen time. When used properly, technology and the internet can help students to learn. However, technology and the internet also pose a great risk to student safety and well-being. To address this risk, invited speaker(s) will provide parents and guardians with an introduction to a variety of issues surrounding online safety. We will also facilitate a discussion on screen time, exploring how the amount (and type) of screen time given to students can influence their learning and overall health.

Do you know someone in the community who is an excellent facilitator who could engage us on this topic on the evening of Tuesday April 10th at John McCrae?

Please fill out this 2 minute survey below to help us with the planning of this event.
