June is nationally recognized as Pride month, and throughout this month the Pride rainbow flag will be flown at the Upper Grand board office, our school, and other schools as well. Our Virtual Spirit Day for Monday, June 1st is RAINBOWS!

JMC students and staff are invited to dress in as many rainbow colours as you can because rainbows are fun, and it also shows support to all of our students, staff, parents/guardians and community members who identify as members of the Rainbow or LGBTQ+ community. Please note that this is a completely voluntary activity.  Parents can choose to send in a photo of their child celebrating to their child’s classroom teacher if they wish.  Photos sent in by parents will be included in a school-wide slide show that will be shared on Google Classroom.  Thank you and have fun!
