May is just a couple of days away… The temperatures are (mostly) going up, and daylight is lasting later and later! Families going out for walks together, making trips to the park and elsewhere, will have undoubtedly noticed just how much litter has accumulated all over the city… The City’s 2019 Clean & Green event was very successful, but there is much more to accomplish than can be tackled in one mere morning… Choose your own location(s), frequency, duration, etc… Take before and after photos of any spot you’ve chosen to help make litter-free, and send them in to parent council in the first week of June. We have three prizes to offer to our most ambitious collectors from local businesses: Simply Wonderful, Mastermind Toys, and the Guelph Grotto are all pleased to acknowledge and reward our students’ acts of Environmental Stewardship! Please do share this poster and guide with any other families within the school community who may be excited to participate!
