Chromebook requests for January 4-8!
Dear John Galt Parents/Guardians:
We hope that you are having a safe and enjoyable Winter Break.
On Monday, Dec. 21, the provincial government announced that schools in Ontario will move temporarily to remote learning following the winter break. Following the announcement, the Ministry of Education confirmed to school boards that all elementary students will temporarily shift to remote learning starting on January 4th, 2021. UGDSB elementary schools will resume in-person learning on January 11th. We understand that some families will require a device to support student learning from January 4-8. If you currently do not have a device from the UGDSB and require a device, please complete the Google form https://forms.gle/gYVP4pr7C343gHrs9 at the earliest possible time so we can provide the necessary supports (One device per family). The Deadline for completing the survey is Friday, January 1, 2021, by 3 pm.
The device pick-ups will on Monday, January 4, 2021. We will be communicating with families that completed the Survey.
