Important Information for First Day of School !
Hello Parents/Guardians:
The first day of school is almost here. I will be posting lots of information to the website in the upcoming days so be sure to check from time to time. You will want to find out about UGConnect (information will be coming home) so that you get notifications when items/updates are posted on the website.
This especially important for parents of young students, please let teachers know about transportation. Is it different today because it is the first day? How will your child typically go home? Thanks, that helps to save a lot of tears and upset.
Please check below to help you navigate the first morning!
Kindergarten (JK’s have a separate schedule)
- Teachers and ECE’s out at 8:15 on hardtop at back of school near the kindergarten doors
- Each team will be provided with a current list for all 4 classes
Grades 1 through 3 AND Mme Owen’s class (a 3/4 class)
- Classroom teachers in gymnasium
- Classroom teachers will have a hard copy of their classroom
- Students will trickle into the gym at the warning bell
Classroom teachers will have a copy of their own list and the other primary classes as well.
Signage indicating teachers’ names will be posted on the gym walls to indicate the gathering place.
Grades 4 through 6
- Students gather by kindergarten penned area.
- Classroom teachers will have a copy of their own list and the other junior classes as well
