Get Real Workshop Information
Attention Ken Danby Grade 6, 7 & 8 Parents/Guardians,
On Monday, January 16th Ken Danby’s Grade 6, 7 & 8 students will be having the Get Real Workshop. Get Real is a non-profit organization focused on combatting 2SLGBTQIA+ discrimination, racism and bullying. This workshop is in line with our school’s commitment to disrupting racism and oppression in all of its forms. The presenters will speak to students about their journey and steps to help disrupt oppression and racism within our schools. If your child feels that they would like to discuss this information further, Bonnie Pomfret, our CYC is able to support them at any time.
