MPS Information Update (June 30th)

Good Afternoon MPS Families…

It is hard to believe that this will be our last information update for the 2021-2022 school year. We would like to thank you for your continued support this year! We are lucky at MPS to have the support of such a caring and involved school community. As we look toward the fall, any Information about our return to school will be shared later in the summer by email and on our school website.

Digital Yearbook: A digital copy of the 2021-2022 yearbook for MPS has been posted on your child’s Google Classroom. To access this digital yearbook, you will have to sign in to UGCloud using your child’s login and password (to access their Google Classroom).

School Supplies for the Fall: It seems so far away, but as you are out and about in the summer, below is a list of back to school supplies you may consider purchasing:

  • Knapsack or backpack for personal belongings
  • A water bottle and lunch pail
  • Outdoor and indoor shoes
  • Kindergarten & Primary Students: pencil case, pencils, erasers, glue stick, scissors, washable markers, crayons
  • Junior Students: pencil case, pencils, erasers, glue stick, scissors, pencil crayons, washable markers, a calculator
  • Students may bring their own technological device (i.e., Chromebook) on the direction of their teacher

Our Tentative Organization for Fall 2022: Below is our tentative school organization for the fall. Just a reminder that our school organization can still change over the summer and into September:

Class Lists: As in previous years, class placements will be shared on the first day of school. Our staff spends time considering a variety of factors when building classes. We appreciate your patience!
