Brittany Weber (co-chair)

I am the interior Designer & Project Manager behind Stonehaven Interiors. I have been running a business successfully for 4 years in January, and I wouldn’t change a thing as it allows for the best possible work/ family life balance. This being said I’m a mom of 4 girls. Brynleigh (9), Brooklynn (5), Brielle (2), Braedyn (1m). I keep myself and my family fairly busy and active with hobbies in every season of the year. I was born and raised in minto and currently reside just outside of Harriston. I have strong passion for family & community, this is why I believe I could be a great asset to the council. Crystal MacDonald (co-chair)

I am a stay at home mom of 4 boys. 3 of them currently go to minto clifford and my oldest just moved on to high-school. I live  on a farm outside of mount forest where I bake pies to sell and have a pumpkin business. Ever since my oldest started kindergarten at this school, I have always wanted to be involved and be able to help out in the classes. I have volunteered numerous times for class trip, science days and just about anything else I could do. I always wanted to give the kids the best by purchasing extra supplies, kleenex, and just always giving them a smile when I enter the school. I like to think of myself as a approachable person that is good with people. I try to make everyone feel welcome.  I have been on parent council for a few years and have always wanted to introduce new things. A few years ago I introduced hot dog day and it was successful up until covid hit. I was the breakfast coordinator 7 months before covid hit and I loved it. Students got to know me and all kinds of them would smile and say hello when they saw me. I had some students helping with breakfast, I introduced lots of new healthy food they ended up liking and teachers would teach the students different subjects with the breakfast food that was supplied and they didn’t even realize they were learning. Spring fling was always a fun time and I loved to bring new ideas to the table. There are lots of rules and regulations so it is hard but I got to bring in some carnival type games and sell a few pie slices. Over the years I have been a familiar face to a lot of parents by just being involve in the school, so some of those parents have started coming to me for questions about how things are run at the school. I would like to do my best to be informative about anything I can about our school. It is a great school, hard working teachers but they also need help from us as a community to make these years the best for our children. I want to do that. I am not perfect ( nobody is) but I keep trying. I have always believed that the more parents we get involved in the school, the better the school will be for our kids and the better the kids will be. Connecting parents makes great communication and friends are always made. We need to set a great example for our children.  Contact info: [email protected]

Alexis Rock (secretary)

My name is Alexis Rock and I have a son in Grade 1 as well as a 3 year old daughter. I attended Minto Clifford Public School as a child so it’s fun to come back through the doors as a parent now & be involved in the school community.

I am the Steering Committee Chair of Clifford Connects, a community led downtown revitalization group, and I work at Ward & Uptigrove as an Administrative Assistant.

I look forward to serving as the Secretary for the 2022-2023 Parent Council as we strive to improve and expand on our children’s learning environment. Contact info: [email protected]
