The Elementary Remote Learning Program (ERLP) is a joint education agreement between the Avon Maitland School Board, the District School Board of Niagara, the Grand Erie District School Board, the Upper Grand District School Board, and the Waterloo Region District School Board to provide remote learning for Grade 1 to Grade 8 students.

Students are placed in a dedicated remote classroom, with a dedicated remote learning teacher. The ERLP does not use a hybrid learning model for remote learning.

Synchronous Learning

• School day begins at 9:00am and ends at 2:40pm (with a 40 minute break in the middle of the day)

• 300 minute daily schedule set by teacher

• Live instruction using Google Meets

• Use of Google Classroom online learning environment
