Eramosa Public School : (updated September 14, 2026)
STUDENT ATHLETE BEHAVIOUR CONTRACT
At Eramosa Public School, we believe that participation in sports teams and extracurricular activities is a privilege that comes with responsibility. Elementary school sports are an opportunity for students to develop their skills while being part of a supportive recreational team. All students wishing to participate in these opportunities must demonstrate appropriate behaviour, including showing respect to peers, teachers, and all supervising adults. Student expectations are as follows:
Trustworthiness
I will demonstrate trustworthy behaviour both at school and during all extracurricular activities.
I will be where I am expected to be, at the right time, and follow all instructions given by staff or supervisors.
Respect for School Rules
I will follow all school rules during school hours, on field trips, riding the bus and also at extracurricular events.
I understand these rules are in place for safety and to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
I will ensure my school work is completed in all classes.
Respect for Others
I will treat my classmates, fellow athletes, teachers, and all adults with kindness and respect at all times.
I will not engage in bullying, teasing, or any inappropriate behaviour.
I will be a team player and demonstrate a positive attitude.
Representing Our School
I understand that when I participate in any activity or event off school property, I am representing Eramosa Public School.
I will act in a way that reflects positively on our school community.
Consequences for Misconduct
If my behaviour puts my participation in an activity or team in jeopardy, my parent(s)/guardian(s) will be contacted.
Continued or serious issues may result in my removal from the team or activity.
