Transportation Information for the 2020-21 school year

If buses are cancelled in Divisions 1, 2, 3, or 4: Division 1 – elementary schools are open to students, secondary schools are closed. Division 2 – elementary schools are open to students, secondary schools are closed. Division 3 – elementary schools and secondary schools are closed to students. Division 4 – elementary schools and secondary schools (*including EDHS) are closed to students. Please visit www.stwdsts.ca for bus cancellations.

Plan of Care updates – for students with medical issues

If you have a students who has a Life Threatening Medical plan, please make sure we have the most up-to-date information in the office. Creating a Culture of Privacy

Community Service Hours

Have you completed your 40 hours of Community Service?  These hours must be completed and handed in before you can graduate.  The form to record your hours and the Information Guide is here.  Grads should have their hours submitted no later than June 1st so we can consider you for Graduation awards!

Smoke and Vape-Free School Environment

The Upper Grand DSB provides a smoke and vape-free environment for its students, staff and others while on school Board property and at school events.  Under our policy, all forms of tobacco, and any processed form of tobacco that may be smoked, inhaled or chewed is included. Reporting Student Absences

You can let us know if your child missed school by:

  • telephone: 519-941-0491, ext. 258,
  • e-mail our attendance secretary: [email protected],
  • or send a note with your child on their first day back (note should be brought to the office)
Please let us know the date and times the child is excused (i.e. morning or all day) and the reason for the absence.
