Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health and the school board would like to remind all parents/guardians that they are to screen their children every day for COVID-19 symptoms, prior to coming to school.

Public Health has great resources for families on their website, including screening tools and checklists.

Parents/guardians should screen their children using the Public Health screening tools each day for all students who are attending school in-person, prior to coming to school. This includes taking your child’s temperature. The screening tools are designed to determine whether students should attend school each day. Staff are also required to screen themselves each day prior to coming to work.

Screening students and staff for COVID-19 symptoms and potential exposures every day before attending school is vital to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Please visit the WDGPH website for the most recent versions of the screening tools: https://www.wdgpublichealth.ca/your-health/covid-19-information-schools-parents-and-teachers/schools

We would like to thank everyone for working together to help keep our schools and communities safe.
