Possible Class Changes

Posted September 6, 2019

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We have had a wonderful start to our school year!  Thank you so much for your ongoing support of our school.  We are a lucky school to have such an amazing community surrounding us.

We want to make you aware that our school has built class lists based on the tentative class organizations that are given to us by the Board. Changes may be necessary at Palmerston Public School in order for our Board to meet Ministry requirements about class sizes (see below).  This means that we may get new teacher(s) and classes, and that your child(ren) might be moved into a new class.  Any changes would be made by Monday, September 16th. Principals do not have the option of changing the school organization – that is decided by the District Staffing Committee of the Board. If changes affect your child(ren), you will be informed by the school.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
