The Ponsonby Three – January 27th
CORRECTION: The School Council Movie Night is February 10th and not February 24th. Hope to see you there for our screening of Space Jam!
1) We hope you are interested in volunteering at Ponsonby Public School. We love when our students’ families are able to get involved – and your children do, too! If you’re interested in coming on a field trip or riding the bus with a sports team, please complete this process soon.
Here’s what needs to be completed prior to volunteering at Ponsonby Public School:
- Volunteer Agreement Form (available in the office)
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

2) Term One Report Cards will be available electronically on February 16th. ConnectEd parent accounts remain open until about the end of the first week in July which means you can access the account anytime during the school year. If you were not able to access your account in November, could you try again now? If you still can’t access your account, please contact Mardi in the office and she can have the board look into it for you before they are busy at report card time.
3) There was a glitch with the pizza and milk amounts on School Cash online for the February orders. Stay tuned for more information to come home next week about next steps for February orders as well as how the missed pizza day from this past Thursday will be made up. Thank you for your patience.
THANK YOU! for your support of Cozy Up and Read Day – our See a Book/Take a Book project will continue this week. We had enough books donated for every student to choose one to take home. Any remaining will be added to our library collection, classroom libraries, or home reading bins.
