We wanted to extend a huge thank you to all the families that helped out with our Christmas Angels, Care Cupboard program and Coats for Kids. We are overwhelmed by the generosity our Primrose community has displayed. Attached are photos of our Care Cupboard, Primrose Care Cupboard supplies, and a fifth of what we have accumulated for our Coats for Kids program.
Thank you for making time to meet with your child’s teacher(s) this week to discuss the Progress Report/ Initial Observations of Learning. Looking at how students are progressing early in the year and setting goals is an important part of helping all our kids be successful. Remember that you can reach out to your child’s teacher any time you have a question or concern.
A few reminders for the coming week:
- Poinsettia Fundraiser Orders Due November 29th.
Primrose is organizing a Poinsettia Fundraiser with Bradford Greenhouse. This fundraiser will be supporting our plans to make some positive improvements to the outdoor play environment and will benefit all our students from Kindergarten to grade 8.
All orders are due by November 29th and will be available for pick up on Thursday, December 9th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Honeywood arena.
Please collect orders and payment from family and friends using this form.

When you have collected all your orders, submit one combined order and payment through your own School Cash account. We are not accepting cash/cheque orders at the school. - Picture Day Tuesday November 30th.
Picture Day is Tuesday November 30th for those classes that didn’t get their pictures taken last time and also for those students who would like retakes. A flyer will be going home today. Attached is the electronic Picture Day flyer for retake day on November 30th. Primrose Picture Day .pdf
- Nurturing Resilience Through Relationships Workshop December 1st.
Please find attached a flyer for a FREE webinar being offered to parents, caregivers, elders and those who care for our children and youth. Dr. Michael Ungar will be presenting in this virtual setting on the importance of nurturing resilience through relationships. Please join us on Dec. 1st at 6:30 pm. Reminder:
A reminder as we head into the week. Each child and staff member must complete the self-screening tool: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/school-screening/. Please do not send your child to school if they do not pass the screening and follow the advice that is given when you receive your child’s self-screening results.
