First Day Procedures – Tuesday, September 3rd
We trust that all of our families had an enjoyable summer and are ready for another exciting school year at PMPS. We are eager to welcome our students back to school on Tuesday.
Our school is in excellent shape thanks to our custodial team. They have done an amazing job of making our school shine. We appreciate their hard work!
A sincere “Thank You” goes out to all staff for their efforts in getting our school ready for the new year. We know that our students will appreciate the stimulating and welcoming learning environment.
Here are a few reminders about our opening day procedures. Staff will be on the yard by 8:25 a.m. to assist students in finding their last year’s teachers and classrooms. New students who are registered should go to the library, where staff will meet them and help them to their new class. If a student has not been registered at PMPS, the child and parents/ guardians must report directly to the office. The registration process can be completed then.
When the bell rings at 8:30 AM, students will proceed inside with last year’s teacher and return to their last year’s teacher/classroom. Students are to enter the school using the same door they did last year. Once inside the school, last year’s teacher will help students move to their new classes.
Open House will be Thursday, September 19th from 5:30 to 7 PM and our first School Council meeting will be held on Monday, September 23rd at 6:30 PM in the library. Elections will be held during this meeting.
