Posted May 25, 2023

Good Evening Mustang Families,

It’s been another fantastic week at PMPS.  The grade ⅔ class hosted a gallery walk outside for parents and showcased their reading projects, our 1500m run athletes are training hard and so is our ultimate frisbee team, the choir continues to practice for our Arts Night and Family Fun Night on June 15th, the grade 6/7s went to Island Lake to participate in Indigenous learning and many other junior/ intermediate classes are going too over the next couple of weeks, our bike rodeo finalists are representing our school on Saturday, our primary and junior students enjoyed meeting Amaya James who is the author of Afro No, and our grade threes worked hard to complete EQAO, feeling good about how they did.

Stolen scooters and bikes- lock them up: We have had a few scooters and bikes stolen that have not been locked up from our bike rack.. If your child rides a scooter or bike to school, please make sure that it is locked up. The school is busy and it is hard for me to find the time to follow up on unlocked, stolen items.

Milk Sales: Our wonderful Student Council continues to sell milk.  The milk costs $1.00 each. Milk sale profits support our Student Council.

We will see everyone tomorrow for another great day of learning  and then we hope everyone has a great weekend.
