Our Nutrition Program’s major annual fundraiser Help Kids Live Free From Hunger (Live Free) is coming to a close and today is the last day to donate. Please continue to donate online at schoolcashonline.com until March 1st. If you require a tax receipt, you may donate through the Food and Friends website. Please specify Rockwood Centennial Live Free in the notes section of the donation page. Thank you! If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected] Thank you to our volunteers, students, and staff who keep this program available to our students!

Read-a-thon:

Just a reminder that our Read-a-thon is under way and will continue through to March 17. We are hoping to raise $3000 to purchase a new data projector for our gymnasium. If additional funds are raised, we will buy new books for our school, as well. Please encourage your child to read each day to help achieve their Read-a-thon goal. When funds are collected, please go on schoolcashonline.com to make your final pledge as we are not collecting cash. If there is an issue or concern, please contact the office. Thanks for your support with this educational fundraiser tied to literacy.

PA Day Friday no school for students. Staff have a full day of learning on Science, Technology, Math, Equity, and Mental Health.

New term for food orders: Orders for milk and pizza start Mar 6-26 on schoolcashonline for the final term.  We have a lot of kids bringing $2 instead of $2.50 for pizza on Thursdays. A reminder that it is $2.50 per slice if there is extra pizza available and students can purchase weekly on Thursdays. We also have subs available for purchase weekly on schoolcasholine.com and then go to Lunch Box, order now (in yellow) and you can order by Sunday for Wednesday of the same week. Subs are saved in the fridge for the next day and students need to remember to request their sub.

We are planning a new community exciting event happening on June 1st– Family Fun Fair Fundraiser! See the attached flyer and save the date! It’s going to be a blast! June 2nd is a PD Day! We know the last few years have been so difficult and look forward to seeing families at this Fun Fair school community event.
