Dress Up Day – October 29

On this day options are:

  • wear orange and black
  • dress in a costume
  • wear your everyday clothes

If students wish to wear a costume, here is a list of Do’s and Don’ts:

Costume Do’s Costume Don’ts
– follow our school code of conduct

– wear black and orange

– appropriate for school

– use makeup or face paint *but remember, you still have to wear a COVID mask

– make sure you can get your costume on independently

– check that your costume is safe (i.e. not too long)

– be creative!

– have fun!

– no dress up masks– no weapons

– no props

– no violent references

– you don’t have to dress up at all

– no costumes that are representative of another culture, religious beliefs, or gender

Please note that our younger students may be sensitive to scary images.

If students dress up,  they will wear costumes all day (this will assist with distancing as often younger students require a significant amount of help)

Accessories’ are to stay home – to minimize items brought to school.

Please understand that we will not have classroom parties where food is brought in from families. Please do not send in any candy or treats for students in your child’s class. Students still need to wear their COVID mask.
