Covid 19 Notice Of Positive Case

Dear Ross R MacKay Families,
We are writing to share information received from Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) about 2 cases of COVID-19 in our community.
WDGPH has confirmed two positive COVID-19 cases at Ross R MacKay P.S. WDG Public Health has determined that these individuals were not at school during their infectious period and therefore, classmates and staff were not at risk of exposure through the individual. WDG Public Health has notified us that these cases have been resolved, therefore they will not be posted on the UGDSB reporting website.
WDG Public Health has noted that these cases do not create any risk to other students or the public beyond the general community risk.
We will continue to follow the protocols provided through WDG Public Health to support a safe and healthy learning environment. We would also ask that families continue to monitor your personal health and complete the self screening tool each day before leaving for school.
