SIB Overnight Trips Cancelled, Grade 8 Graduation Planning Postponed – Please Read

Dear Parents of Grade 6 and Grade 8 Students at SIB,

GRADE 6 and Grade 8 OVERNIGHT TRIPS CANCELLED

Please be advised that due to ongoing school closures and concerns about COVID-19, the Upper Grand DSB will be canceling all planned overnight field trips for the remainder of this school year. This includes the Grade 6 trip to Camp Brebeuf and the Grade 8 trip to Quebec. All of the Grade 8 trip deposits were made using School Cash Online and over the coming days the deposits will be fully refunded to each family using the School Cash Online system. A reminder that it can take up to two weeks for the refund to show up in your records. 

GRADE 8 GRADUATION

At this time, no decision has been made about the grade 8 graduation at SIB. We are putting our planning on hold pending a return to school later this Spring.
