Student Pre-Registration Survey DUE DATE: August 14th

We hope this email finds you all well.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS WITH STUDENTS STARTING JK IN THE FALL: Please note that due to COVID restrictions there will NOT be staggered entry for JK students. In the spring information was shared with you about staggered entry for JK students, please disregard this.
School begins for all students from JK to Grade 8 on September 8th.
Please read the following carefully as there are three important announcements as we start the process for starting school in September.
#1 All students in the UGDSB must pre-register for school by August 14th. The survey is now live and can be accessed by going to the website: https://www.ugdsb.ca/community/coronavirus/reopening-schools-plan/student-pre-registration-survey/ The information collected here will be able to better help our school prepare students for the start up in September.
#2 The UGDSB has created a ‘Reopening Schools Parent Guide’ the website is: https://www.ugdsb.ca/community/coronavirus/reopening-schools-plan/reopening-schools-parent-guide/ please read it completely to ensure you are familiar with the boards directions on how students will return to school
#3 The UGDSB has created a Reopening Schools website: https://www.ugdsb.ca/community/coronavirus/reopening-schools-plan/ This page will continue to be updated regularly so please check it often.
We ask that all parents share this important information with family and friends who may also have students attending schools in the UGDSB to ensure we have reached everyone over the summer months.
SIB will continue to communicate with families step by step with information as we move through to the beginning of the school year. We will be using email, twitter and our website https://www.ugdsb.ca/sibps/ for updates.
