SIB Message regarding Remote Learning Jan 4th to 8th
Hi SIB families
On Monday Dec. 21, the provincial government announced that schools in Ontario will move temporarily to remote learning following the winter break. Following the announcement, the Ministry of Education confirmed to school boards that all elementary and secondary students will temporarily shift to remote learning starting on January 4th, 2021. UGDSB elementary schools will resume in-person learning on January 11th. Please Note: Students in our 2 DD Special Education Classes will still continue in person learning.
School work will be posted in each student’s Google Classroom on Monday January 4th. Homeroom teachers will be reaching out to all families with instructions about how remote learning will look for their students on Monday January 4th as well. More information is available on our school’s website https://www.ugdsb.ca/sibps/ . We understand that some families will require a device to support student learning from January 4-8. If you currently do not have a device from the UGDSB and require a device, please complete the Google form below:

Please, be sure to tell family and friends who have children attending SIB to keep checking the website. We will update everyone as soon as new information is available and we look forward to getting school started!
