This week @ SIB: PA Day Jan 29th
Dear SIB families,
Please keep encouraging your children as they are really working hard in these challenging times. Their efforts are really paying off! Here are this week’s announcements.
#1 Return to School: At this time, we do not expect that schools will resume in-person learning until the end of the provincial emergency orders on February 11, 2021, at the earliest. This means that all UGDSB schools will continue with our current measures for online learning until further notice. #2 PA Day is this Friday January 29th: Teachers will not be providing remote learning instruction on this day. It is a Ministry mandated day for teachers to work on report cards.
#3 Chromebooks can be loaned: We understand that some families require extra chromebooks to support student learning in their homes. If you require a device from the UGDSB or are having technical issues now that remote school is continuing please contact your child’s teacher.
