Principal’s Message – April 3, 2021

Posted April 3, 2021

There were many religious celebrations this past week and happening this weekend.  We would like to wish a Happy Holi to our Hindu families; a Happy Hola Mohalla to our Sikh families; Chag Sameach to our Jewish families celebrating Pesach (Passover); and Happy Easter to our Christian families celebrating this weekend.  Although our celebrations may look different this year, we hope that you have been able to enjoy time with your family.

Throughout the school we will be focusing on intentional acts of kindness and bucket filling in the month of April.  Students in our primary grades will be challenged to “fill someone else’s bucket” by focusing on saying nice things and doing some kindnesses to show that they care.  We will be celebrating these acts in our classrooms and on the announcements.  Whenever a conflict arises, the first question we ask is, “was that kind?”  We are hoping that everyone will become expert bucket fillers so all students feel good about themselves.

We hope everyone enjoys this long weekend and we look forward to seeing your kiddos in person on Tuesday!
